Can You Play Mobile Legends on PC?

Yes. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) works on PC through GameLoop, the official Android emulator by Tencent. You can also use LDPlayer, BlueStacks, or MuMu Player, but GameLoop offers the cleanest MLBB experience due to its DirectX 11 rendering engine and mouse-to-touch input translation.

Important: Mobile Legends does not have an official native PC client. Unlike PUBG or CODM, you cannot download MLBB directly on a PC — you must use an emulator. The options are:

This guide uses GameLoop as the primary method.

System Requirements

SpecMinimumRecommended
CPUIntel Core i3-6th gen / AMD Ryzen 3 1200Intel Core i5-8th gen+ / Ryzen 5 2600+
RAM4 GB8 GB
GPUIntel HD 520 / any with OpenGL 2.0NVIDIA GTX 1050 / AMD RX 560 or better
Storage8 GB free15 GB free
OSWindows 10 64-bitWindows 10/11 64-bit
VT-x/AMD-VRequired (enable in BIOS)Required

MLBB is lighter than CODM or PUBG — it runs acceptably on 4 GB RAM and integrated graphics (Intel UHD 620+). See the low-end section below.

Step 1: Download and Install GameLoop

  1. Go to gameloop.fun (official site) — avoid third-party download mirrors.
  2. Click Download to get the GameLoop installer (~5 MB initial, downloads the full package after launch).
  3. Run the installer as administrator. When prompted by UAC, click Yes.
  4. GameLoop installs its Android runtime (~2 GB). This may take a few minutes.
  5. Once the main GameLoop window opens, continue to Step 2.

If GameLoop won't install: Check that VT-x is enabled in your BIOS (Task Manager → Performance → CPU → Virtualization should say "Enabled"). See the [gameloop-download-install-guide-2026] for full troubleshooting.

Step 2: Download Mobile Legends Inside GameLoop

GameLoop has its own game store. Mobile Legends is listed directly.

  1. In GameLoop's main screen, click Game Center (the search bar at top).
  2. Search for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
  3. Click Install on the official result (Moonton logo).
  4. GameLoop downloads and installs MLBB (~3.5 GB including resources).

Alternative — install via APK: If MLBB does not appear in Game Center in your region, you can:

  1. Download the official APK from apkpure.com or apkmirror.com (search "MLBB APK").
  2. In GameLoop → click the three-line menu → Install APK → browse to the downloaded file.

Do not use unofficial "hacked" APKs — accounts flagged for game modification can be permanently banned.

Step 3: Log In to Your MLBB Account

Open Mobile Legends inside GameLoop. On the login screen:

Login MethodNotes
Moonton AccountRecommended — cross-device sync, most stable
FacebookWorks but occasional token refresh required
GoogleWorks; requires Google Play Services in GameLoop
Guest AccountNo account required; progress NOT transferable

Transferring progress from mobile: If you already play MLBB on your phone, your progress is tied to your Moonton/Facebook/Google account. Log in with the same account on GameLoop — your heroes, skins, and rank transfer automatically. No manual migration needed.

Google Play Services: GameLoop does not include Google Play Services by default. If you log in via Google, GameLoop will prompt you to install them separately. Follow the on-screen instructions — it takes about 3 minutes and requires a Google account sign-in.

Step 4: Optimize GameLoop Settings for MLBB

Display Settings

GameLoop menu → Settings → Display:

SettingRecommended Value
Resolution1280×720 for low-end; 1920×1080 for mid-high
Rendering EngineDirectX (better for most NVIDIA/AMD GPUs)
Frame Rate60 FPS
Memory2 GB (4 GB RAM) / 3 GB (8 GB RAM)

For integrated GPU (Intel UHD / AMD Vega): Use OpenGL instead of DirectX, and set resolution to 720p.

In-Game MLBB Graphics Settings

Settings (gear icon in MLBB lobby) → Graphics:

SettingLow-End ValueCompetitive Value
Graphics QualityLow / MediumHigh
Frame Rate60 FPS60 FPS (always)
ShadowOffOff (better visibility)
Anti-AliasingOffLow
Screen RenderingNormalNormal

Key insight: Shadows should be OFF even on high-end PCs. In MLBB, disabling shadows slightly improves visibility of enemy heroes in bushes and during teamfights. Competitive players at high rank consistently disable shadows on all platforms.

Step 5: Configure Keyboard and Mouse Controls

GameLoop's control editor for MLBB is the most important part of this setup. Unlike CODM (which GameLoop auto-configures for shooters), MLBB needs manual control configuration because it's a MOBA with tap-skill inputs.

Default GameLoop MLBB Controls

GameLoop ships a default MLBB control scheme. Open GameLoop Keyboard Mapping (the keyboard icon in the sidebar while MLBB is running) to see and edit bindings.

Default layout:

KeyFunction
Left MouseTap / Confirm
Right MouseMap pan
W / A / S / DMove joystick
QSkill 1
WSkill 2
ESkill 3 (Ultimate)
RRecall
SpaceBasic Attack
1, 2Battle Spells
FItem / Retribution
TabScoreboard
MMinimap

Customizing Controls

  1. While in a match, click the keyboard icon in the GameLoop sidebar.
  2. The control editor overlays on the game screen.
  3. Drag keys to the correct positions, or click a key to change its binding.

Recommended for MOBA play:

Mouse vs Joystick Movement

GameLoop offers two movement modes for MLBB:

Most PC players prefer WASD for hero control after a short adjustment period.

Step 6: MLBB PC vs Mobile — What Changes

Playing MLBB on PC via GameLoop is technically allowed by Moonton. You are not banned for using GameLoop to play MLBB. However, some things change:

AspectMobilePC (GameLoop)
Matchmaking poolMixed platformMixed platform (no separate queue)
Skill ceilingThumb taps on phoneMouse precision — significant advantage
RotationTap minimapClick minimap
ZoomPinch gestureScroll wheel
Latency4G/WiFiWiFi/Ethernet — usually lower
Multi-taskingHardEasy (switch to Discord, etc.)

Is GameLoop an unfair advantage? Mouse aiming and keyboard control do give a precision advantage in some heroes (marksmen, assassins with skill shots). However, Moonton does not differentiate server queues by input method, so you will face both mobile and PC players in ranked. High-rank MLBB mobile players compensate with faster mechanical speed and developed game sense. The advantage is most pronounced at lower ranks.

Best Heroes to Play on PC

Some heroes benefit more from mouse/keyboard precision:

Excellent on PC (skill-shot reliant):

Works the same on mobile vs PC:

Strong recommendation for PC beginners: Start with Granger, Layla, or Miya (all marksmen) to get comfortable with the control scheme before moving to complex heroes.

MLBB Server and Region Selection

MLBB has multiple regional servers. Your server is permanent — it cannot be changed after account creation.

ServerRegionTypical Ping from Turkey
Asia (SEA)Southeast Asia90–140 ms
Asia (SEA-2)Southeast Asia90–150 ms
EuropeEU + Turkey30–60 ms
North AmericaUS/Canada160–220 ms
MENAMiddle East/North Africa40–80 ms

For Turkish players: The EU server or MENA server gives the lowest ping. If your existing account is on Asia server, you cannot transfer — you would need a new account on EU/MENA for better latency.

Changing server in GameLoop: MLBB detects your region during first login. If you want a different server, create a new Moonton account and select the region at signup.

Performance Troubleshooting

FPS drops during teamfights This is the most common complaint. MLBB teamfights generate heavy GPU load from particle effects. Fix: In-game Settings → Graphics → Shadow OFF + Anti-Aliasing OFF. Also reduce GameLoop memory if set above your PC's capacity.

Game freezes when switching windows GameLoop pauses the emulator when minimized by default. Fix: GameLoop Settings → General → uncheck "Pause emulator when GameLoop is not active."

Touch input not registering correctly (skills firing in wrong direction) The mouse-to-touch translation can drift if screen resolution doesn't match. Fix: Set GameLoop resolution to 1280×720 and make sure MLBB graphics are set to Normal screen rendering. Recalibrate the keyboard mapping overlay.

High ping in MLBB (above 100 ms on EU server)

"Your device is not supported" error MLBB occasionally updates its emulator blacklist. Fix: GameLoop → Settings → Performance → Device Profile → change to a supported device preset (Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 or Samsung Galaxy A53 usually work).

MLBB update required every launch MLBB updates frequently. GameLoop should update the game automatically in Game Center. If it loops:

  1. Open Game Center inside GameLoop.
  2. Click the MLBB icon → Update.
  3. If update fails: uninstall MLBB from GameLoop (Settings → Apps) → reinstall from Game Center.

GameLoop vs LDPlayer for MLBB

GameLoop and LDPlayer are the two most popular emulators for MLBB. Here is the key difference:

GameLoopLDPlayer 9
MLBB performanceGood, DirectX 11Excellent, Vulkan renderer
Control mappingBuilt-in MLBB presetRequires manual setup
Multi-instance2–3 instancesUp to 32 instances
Ban risk for MLBBNone detectedVery low; some players report occasional flags
Update cadenceFrequentFrequent

Verdict for MLBB: Either works. LDPlayer slightly edges GameLoop in raw FPS due to Vulkan rendering. GameLoop is more straightforward if MLBB is your primary game. If you also play Tencent titles (CODM/PUBG Mobile), use GameLoop to avoid maintaining two emulators.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is playing MLBB on GameLoop allowed? Yes. Moonton has not banned GameLoop use. Accounts playing on GameLoop are in the same ranked queue as mobile players and face no account penalties.

Will my rank transfer from mobile to PC? Yes, automatically. Log in with the same account (Moonton/Facebook/Google) and your rank, heroes, skins, and stats are all there.

Can I play MLBB on two devices simultaneously? No. MLBB kicks you out of any device when you log in from a second device. You can have GameLoop and your phone both installed, but only one can be active in a game session at a time.

Does MLBB work on Windows 11? Yes. GameLoop is fully compatible with Windows 11. If you experience issues, see [gameloop-windows-11-compatibility-guide-2026].

Can I play MLBB for free? MLBB itself is free to play. GameLoop is free. You do not need to spend anything to play. In-app purchases (hero skins, heroes) are optional cosmetic/convenience items.

Is mouse aim actually better than a phone? For most players, yes — especially for skill-shot heavy heroes. However, long-time mobile players have highly developed thumb muscle memory. Expect a transition period of 10–15 hours before your PC controls feel natural.

Can I use a controller instead of keyboard/mouse? Yes. GameLoop supports Xbox and PlayStation controllers via USB or Bluetooth. In GameLoop's control mapper, switch to "Gamepad mode" to remap the MLBB controls to your controller's buttons.
