The Short Answer
Most games don't need to transfer — they sync via your game account (Google, Facebook, Tencent ID, Apple ID). You log in on GameLoop with the same credentials, and your progress loads instantly. There is no file to copy.
What confuses most players: GameLoop is not a clone of your phone. It's a separate Android environment. The game sees it as a new device. Your account data lives on the game's servers, not on your phone. Log in → your progress follows.
The exception: games that only support guest accounts (no social login). Those are covered at the end of this guide.
Account Transfer by Game
Call of Duty Mobile (CODM)
CODM supports multiple login methods. Use the same method you used on your phone to get instant sync:
| Login method | Works on GameLoop? | What transfers |
|---|---|---|
| Activision account | ✓ Full support | Everything (stats, skins, CP, progress) |
| Google account | ✓ Full support | Everything |
| ✓ Full support | Everything | |
| Apple ID | ✗ Not available on Android/GameLoop | — |
| Guest / local | Only within same device | Nothing — cannot transfer |
Steps to transfer CODM:
- On your phone: open CODM → Settings (gear icon) → Account → Link Account → link your Google or Activision account if not already done
- Open GameLoop → install CODM from Game Center
- Launch CODM → tap Log in → sign in with the same Google or Activision account
- Your full account (rank, loadouts, Battle Pass progress, CP balance) loads automatically
Apple ID users: CODM on Android cannot use Apple ID. Before switching to GameLoop, link your CODM account to Google or Activision on your phone first. You can do this while keeping Apple ID active — your account supports multiple linked logins.
PUBG Mobile
PUBG Mobile account transfer is seamless via any social login:
| Login method | Works on GameLoop? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ✓ | Twitter login works via web auth inside GameLoop | |
| ✓ | Full support | |
| ✓ | Full support | |
| Apple ID | ✗ | Not available on Android |
| Guest | Only same device | Cannot transfer |
Steps:
- Phone → PUBG Mobile → Settings → Account → confirm your account is linked (not Guest)
- GameLoop → install PUBG Mobile from Game Center
- Launch → Log in → select the same login method
- Tap your account when it appears → loading screen → your full lobby, skins, UC balance, and rank load
Note on PUBG Mobile Lite: Lite is a separate game with a separate account. Your PUBG Mobile account cannot transfer to Lite, and vice versa.
Free Fire and Free Fire MAX
Free Fire accounts sync via:
| Login method | Transfer support |
|---|---|
| Full | |
| Full | |
| VK (CIS region) | Full |
| Guest | Cannot transfer |
Free Fire and Free Fire MAX are different games with separate accounts. A Free Fire account does NOT automatically transfer to Free Fire MAX, even if they're both installed on the same device. Garena offers an official character copy feature — check in-game settings for the current state of that migration tool.
Steps for Free Fire on GameLoop:
- Phone → Free Fire → Settings → Account → link to Facebook or Google if on Guest
- GameLoop → download Free Fire from Game Center
- Launch → Log in with Facebook/Google → your account loads
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB)
MLBB syncs via Moonton account or social logins:
| Method | Notes |
|---|---|
| Moonton account | ✓ Best option — transfers everything including skins |
| ✓ Full | |
| ✓ Full | |
| Phone number | Regional availability varies |
| VK | Available for CIS accounts |
| Guest | Cannot transfer |
If you've been playing as Guest on phone: Go to phone → MLBB → Settings → Account → Link Account → create and link a Moonton account before switching to GameLoop.
Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact uses HoYoverse account (miHoYo ID):
- On phone → Genshin Impact → Paimon menu → Settings → Account → User Center → confirm your HoYoverse email is set
- GameLoop → install Genshin Impact from Game Center (or download the official Genshin launcher directly)
- Launch → log in with your HoYoverse account + password
- Select the same server region you used on your phone — you cannot change servers; the wrong server = wrong account
Server warning: Genshin Impact has completely separate accounts per server (Asia, America, Europe, TW/HK/MO, etc.). If you log into a different region, you see a fresh account. Always match your phone's server.
Honor of Kings
Honor of Kings (王者荣耀) syncs via:
- TapTap
Log in on GameLoop with the same provider you use on your phone. Your heroes, skins, rank, and currency transfer instantly.
Game Without Social Login (Guest Accounts)
Some older or smaller games only support guest/device accounts — the save file is tied to the physical device, not a cloud account. These cannot be transferred without in-game tools or rooting.
Signs you're on a Guest account:
- No login screen on first launch — the game just starts
- Settings shows "Guest" or "Local Account"
- No linked social account in the game settings
Options for Guest account games:
| Option | Effort | Success rate |
|---|---|---|
| Contact game support and request account migration | Low | Varies by game — some support it, most don't |
| Use a game's built-in account creation (create account → bind to it → log in on GameLoop) | Low | Excellent if game offers it |
| Link to social account on phone first, then GameLoop | Low | Works if game supports linking |
| Use Android backup tools (requires phone root + emulator root, very advanced) | Very high | Low — emulators rarely accept backup-restored game data |
For guest accounts, the realistic answer is: Start fresh on GameLoop, or avoid games with guest-only saves.
What Does and Doesn't Transfer
Understanding this prevents confusion:
| Type of data | Transfers? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account level and rank | ✓ | Stored on game servers |
| In-app purchases (skins, currency, items) | ✓ | Tied to account on servers |
| Battle Pass progress | ✓ | Server-side |
| Friend list | ✓ | Server-side |
| Settings and keybinds | ✗ | Stored locally per device |
| Control layout (virtual buttons) | ✗ | Phone controls don't apply on PC anyway |
| Replay files | ✗ | Stored locally |
| Pending downloads mid-update | ✗ | Re-download needed |
| Guest account progress | ✗ | Stored on the phone's local storage |
Before You Make the Switch: What to Check on Your Phone
Do this before installing on GameLoop to avoid losing access:
Step 1: Verify your login method Open each game → Settings → Account. Write down whether you use Google, Facebook, Activision, Moonton, HoYoverse, or another provider. Take a screenshot.
Step 2: Link an account if on Guest If any game shows "Guest" — link it to a social account now, while you still have access on your phone. Most games: Settings → Account → Link Account → Google or Facebook.
Step 3: Note your server/region (for Genshin, PUBG, and regional games) Server changes are permanent or impossible in most games. Write it down.
Step 4: Check for account verification/2FA Some accounts (especially Activision) require email or SMS verification when logging in from a new device. Have access to that email/phone number ready.
Troubleshooting Transfer Issues
"My account isn't appearing after login"
- Confirm you used the exact same email and login method
- Check you're on the correct server (especially Genshin Impact)
- Some games take up to 2 minutes to load account data from servers — wait before retrying
- Log out and log back in once
"I see all my data but my rank is reset"
This doesn't happen. Rank is always server-side. If you see "Rank: Bronze" after logging in as a Diamond player, you're either:
- On a different account (check the username in the top corner)
- On a different server/region
"The game says 'already logged in on another device'"
Most games allow one active session at a time in ranked/competitive contexts. On your phone, log out of the game completely before playing on GameLoop. Some games auto-resolve this after a few minutes; others need a manual logout.
"I linked my Facebook to CODM but can't find the link option on GameLoop"
CODM on GameLoop — Launch → Log in button (don't skip to guest) → select Facebook → a browser window opens inside GameLoop for Facebook OAuth → log in → your account loads.
If the Facebook browser window doesn't open:
- Go to GameLoop Settings → Browser → ensure the built-in browser is enabled
- Alternatively: link your CODM to a Google account on your phone instead, then use Google login on GameLoop (more reliable on the Android environment)
"Genshin Impact shows a new account on GameLoop"
You're likely on the wrong server. On the Genshin login screen → look for a Server dropdown or region selector → switch to the region you use on your phone.
"PUBG Mobile says my account is banned"
This is unrelated to the transfer — it's an account action. If you were playing on a modded client, third-party emulator, or used cheats on mobile, the ban follows your account. GameLoop is whitelisted and won't generate a ban — the ban exists on the account.
Playing on Both Phone and PC After Transfer
You can play the same account on both devices — just not simultaneously in ranked or competitive modes. Most games enforce:
- One active ranked match per account at a time
- Session takeover (new login boots the old session)
For casual gaming: freely switch between phone and GameLoop. Your progress saves to the server after each session/match and is available on any device immediately.
GameLoop-Specific: Control Setup After Transfer
Once your account loads on GameLoop, your mobile control layout won't carry over — GameLoop uses a keyboard/mouse interface. You'll want to set up controls:
- CODM / PUBG Mobile / Free Fire: GameLoop comes with pre-built control templates for popular games. Launch the game → press the keyboard icon in the GameLoop sidebar → select "Recommended Layout" for your game
- Adjust sensitivity settings inside the game separately — they're stored on game servers, so they will transfer, but PC sensitivity needs to be recalibrated for mouse input regardless
- See [GameLoop Keyboard Mapping Guide 2026] for full control setup instructions
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I lose my progress if I play on GameLoop? No. Your progress is server-side. Playing on GameLoop is identical to playing on a different phone — same account, same data.
Do I need to uninstall the game from my phone? No. You can have the game on both your phone and GameLoop simultaneously and switch freely.
Can I transfer a game from one GameLoop account to another? This is an in-game account question, not a GameLoop question. If the game supports account linking and unlinking (most don't), yes. Otherwise, no — accounts in games like CODM and PUBG Mobile cannot be transferred between Google accounts.
Is it safe to log in with my Facebook/Google on GameLoop? GameLoop is the official Tencent emulator — it's as safe as logging into a game on any Android phone. Your login happens via the game's own OAuth (not GameLoop's servers). See the [Is GameLoop Safe guide] for full details.
What happens to my phone account if I log into GameLoop? Nothing. Your phone account is untouched. The next time you open the game on your phone, it may ask you to confirm the login from a new device — approve it and you're fine.
Can I transfer progress between GameLoop and BlueStacks? Yes — because both use the same game account login system. Your account works on any Android environment. The emulator is just a platform; the account is yours.
My CODM account says "guest" on GameLoop even though it's linked on my phone — why? GameLoop launched the game before you tapped "Log in" — it defaulted to Guest. Close the game, go to CODM's login screen, and select your linked account explicitly. If there's no login button visible, look for Settings → Account → Switch Account inside CODM.
