The Quick Answer

For Call of Duty Mobile on GameLoop, use 1920×1080 resolution, Very High graphics quality, 60fps frame rate limit, Medium anti-aliasing, and High shadows. Enable "High Frame Rate" and "Ultra" graphics in CODM's own settings. For controls, use GameLoop's built-in CODM keymapping template rather than building from scratch.

Why CODM Needs Its Own GameLoop Settings

Call of Duty Mobile is one of the most demanding games in the GameLoop library. Unlike casual titles, CODM has:

Getting both layers right is what separates smooth 60fps gameplay from choppy, laggy frustration.

Part 1: GameLoop Emulator Settings for CODM

Opening GameLoop Settings

  1. Launch GameLoop (don't open CODM yet)
  2. Click the gear icon (⚙) in the top-right corner
  3. Select Performance tab first

Performance Settings

SettingRecommendedWhy
CPU CoresAuto (or 4–6)CODM uses multi-core effectively; don't limit below 4
Memory (RAM)3–4 GBCODM + GameLoop combined need at least 3GB free
Rendering EngineOpenGL (default)Most stable for CODM; try DirectX if OpenGL stutters
Resolution1920×1080CODM renders at 1080p for best detail; go 1600×900 on mid-range PCs
DPI160Default; matches CODM's mobile DPI baseline
Frame Rate60 FPSMatch your in-game CODM frame rate cap
Enable VTYesMust be ON; CODM stutters badly without virtualization

Part 2: CODM In-Game Settings (the Layer That Matters Most)

Once inside CODM, go to Settings (gear icon) → Graphics.

Recommended for most PCs (GTX 1060 / RX 580 and above):

Enable "High Frame Rate" Mode

In CODM's Graphics settings, look for "High Frame Rate" toggle. Enable it. This unlocks 90fps and 120fps options. On GameLoop running a modern PC, 90fps is achievable on mid-range hardware and 120fps on high-end.

To unlock 120fps:

  1. Enable High Frame Rate (in CODM settings)
  2. Set Frame Rate to "Ultra" (120fps cap)
  3. In GameLoop performance settings, set Frame Rate to 120 FPS to match

Part 3: Controls & Sensitivity Settings

CODM on GameLoop requires a well-tuned control layout. Poor controls are the #1 complaint from CODM PC players.

Use the CODM Keymapping Template

GameLoop ships a pre-built CODM keymapping template:

  1. Launch CODM in GameLoop
  2. Click the keyboard icon in the right sidebar
  3. Select "CODM Recommended Layout"
  4. Apply and test

The default template assigns:

Mouse Sensitivity Tuning (Critical)

Sensitivity in CODM on GameLoop has two layers:

  1. GameLoop mouse sensitivity (in the keymapping overlay, click the ADS button → adjust scale)
  2. CODM in-game sensitivity (Settings → Sensitivity)

Start here:

Then fine-tune by testing: open a training match, aim at a target at 100m, swipe your mouse 10cm right — the reticle should track approximately one body-width. Adjust until it feels natural.

Gyroscope: Leave Off on PC

CODM's gyroscope feature is phone-only. On GameLoop, disable it:

Part 4: Audio Settings (Don't Overlook This)

CODM's directional audio is a competitive advantage. On PC you can use better headphones than mobile players.

Part 5: Network Settings for Low Ping

GameLoop doesn't proxy your network connection, but a few settings help:

Common CODM-on-GameLoop Problems & Fixes

Problem: CODM stutters every few seconds

Fix:

  1. Increase GameLoop memory allocation to 4GB
  2. Close Chrome, Discord, and other background apps
  3. Set GameLoop process priority to High (Task Manager → Details → GameLoop.exe → Right-click → Priority: High)

Problem: CODM input lag — shots register late

Fix:

  1. Disable V-Sync in GameLoop AND in CODM
  2. Switch from Fullscreen to Borderless Window
  3. Enable Windows Game Mode: Settings → Gaming → Game Mode: On

Problem: CODM screen resolution looks blurry

Fix:

  1. In GameLoop settings, Resolution: 1920×1080 (not 1280×720)
  2. In CODM graphics, turn off "Anti-Aliasing: TAA" — TAA blurs the image intentionally
  3. Use SMAA instead

Problem: CODM mouse aim feels wrong / too slow

Fix:

  1. In GameLoop keymapping, click the aim zone → reduce "ADS sensitivity multiplier"
  2. Increase CODM in-game sensitivity for ADS scopes
  3. Check your physical mouse DPI — CODM on GameLoop is optimized for 800–1600 DPI

Problem: "Please use the original device" anti-cheat error

Fix: This means CODM's anti-cheat flagged the emulator fingerprint.

  1. Update GameLoop to the latest version
  2. Clear CODM data (Settings → App → CODM → Clear Data in Android settings within GameLoop)
  3. Do NOT use modified or cracked GameLoop versions

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is CODM on GameLoop considered cheating? A: No — Activision officially supports CODM on PC via the PC dedicated version. Playing via GameLoop is a grey area but widely practiced and not actively banned. For competitive modes, use the official PC version for zero risk.

Q: Can I transfer my CODM account from mobile to GameLoop? A: Yes. Log in to CODM on GameLoop with the same account (Facebook, Activision ID, or Google). Your progression, purchases, and loadouts carry over completely.

Q: Does CODM run better on GameLoop or BlueStacks? A: For CODM specifically, GameLoop is recommended. GameLoop is Tencent's official emulator, and CODM (also Activision/Tencent-published) is tested and optimized for it.

Q: My CODM crashes on GameLoop — where do I start? A: See our GameLoop Crashing Fix Guide. The most common CODM-specific crash cause is insufficient RAM allocation (under 2GB) or VT-x disabled in BIOS.
